Prime Minister of Lower Saxony

A Prime Minister represents the entire State at home and abroad. This is a great honor and also a great responsibility. The function of the Prime Minister of Lower Saxony is the greatest thing I can think of. To me it's just fun to work out policies, to take responsibility for the country, to represent the state of Lower Saxony and, above all, to make a good job. The cabinet is a good team and I have great employees in my office.

Personally, I consider myself a groundet leader, in touch with the issues of "normal people". One that trusts in competition of the Provinces. My state government stands for reliability, security and continuity, for a policy that deals with the questions of tomorrow far beyond the next election date.
